window treatments I created for two windows flanking both sides of the bed - I cut the existing curtains and added another fabric for interest and created "stripes" since I didn't have much fabric, I wanted to spread it around to make it look intentional and made a matching pillow and a fitted bed skirt in our newly revamped guest bedroom
Our newly revamped guest bedroom - I painted the walls a golden-green color, then sewed up the window treatments and made a matching fitted bed skirt and a throw pillow with fringe. I used an old red brocade comforter set from the opposite side of the color wheel for a pop and to save money.

my back porch July 6 2014 - zinnias I just cut that I raised from seeds gathered from flowers from last years flowers. In background you'll see asparagus fern with red petunias mixed in for contrast along with Adirondack furniture I stained in a cobalt blue color for a pop. I continue to save glass jars for flowers and candles en' masse for impact.
