Ingredients
• 2 cups olives
• 1/3 to 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 cup milk of choice
• 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
• Bread crumbs
• A small pinch of salt (the olives are already salty)
• Lemon zest, parsley, chili flakes
Oil for frying, I used sunflower seed oil
Instructions
1. Coat the olives in flour.
2. Make the batter, mix milk, lemon juice, a small pinch of salt, cayenne, and garlic powder. Dip the olives in the batter, then evenly coat them in bread crumbs.
3. Heat up oil in a pan, until the oil starts to sizzle. Turn the heat to medium and drop the olives in the oil. Fry until golden brown on the outside, for about 8-12 minutes.
