I've always loved wood flooring, but since I moved into a house with brand new wall-to-wall carpeting, it'll be hard to go back. When I eventually have to replace, this might be an option.

great 6x6 timber stairs. (I think you would have to go bigger for stairs ...Another inner said... I had some of these cut and stacked them Lincoln log style as a glass table base. They weren't kiln dried, so over the years they dried and cracked and got a lot lighter. I don;t know how they'd perform over time in this application, but it is quite unique!
