1 Feb. Mark Bittman's Classic Lasagne.  I really have to start photographing my attempts and putting it up on the blog. This is the only blog I could find with a decent picture and recipe of Mark Bittman's Classic lasagne from How to Cook Everything. Modifications - I used half beef, half pork in the sauce.  I also doubled the sauce, and froze some to have with pasta later this month.  I used ricotta cheese instead of the bechamel sauce (Bittman suggests the substitution in his book.)

31 Jan - Mushroom, Leek, and Fontina Frittata.   May have to use mozz if I can't find fontina here in Ireland.
