This series of collages, created in 2023, was inspired by drawing loose still life sketches of objects in my home. I wanted to place the elements of simple, pleasing forms in settings with suggestions of passage and memory. Collage on raw-edge canvas float mounted in a black wooden frame. This imaginary setting includes a still life drawn on fabric, photo transfer to muslin, screen printing, applique and machine stitching. . All surface design is created by hand with acrylic paints…
