When children are young they start forming their sense of reality, and what that means to them. Some have a firmer grasp earlier then other. When children who dont have a firm grasp of real life is start to play video games, they start associateing that digital would with the real one. and that line can sometimes get blurred, and that is when violent video games start to have a negative effect on kids.
Video games separate themselves from other new media platforms via their interactivity; they rely on the player's input to progress the story, a tactic which casts the illusion of player "freedom". But if this sets players toward a predetermined goal, there's still the possibility that players will react against this material, opting toward different choices than the game gives them. This complex relationship reveals the oversimplification gaming has received in the violence debate.
How society thinks of men and women and the gender roles they are to have for both sexes. These kid's genders aren't based on their biological aspects but by their behaviours, if they are masculine or feminine.
