Peter Ortiz | actor - Joined French Foreign Legion for 5 yrs service. Awarded Croix de Guerre twice. Re-enlisted, wounded & imprisoned by Germans, escaped & went to US. Joined Marines & commissioned 2nd Lt., then Captain. Conducted reconnaissance for OSS, wounded by German patrol. Became member of OSS. Twice  parachuted into German occupied France on missions, 2nd time taken prisoner of war, til end of war. Rose to rank of colonel. Was most highly decorated OSS member.
