We Were Liars by E. Lockhart In this literary suspense story, Cadence Sinclair Eastman, 17, struggles to remember what happened on her family’s private island the summer she was 15, the summer that she fell in love for the first time, the summer that changed her life forever. Trouble is that the members of the mighty Sinclair family guard their secrets as well as they do their money. Goose bump-inducing.
all of her books are worth reading, but this was so thought provoking. Love the way she flips the issues on their head and really forces you to see things from another point of view. She is an incredible researcher and amazing writer.
I just finished this book and words cannot describe how much I love it. Its funny & witty in all the right spots and sad in some others and its just all around brilliant and amazing! Sometimes you read a book and love it so much that you know it is going to stay with you forever abd this is definitely one of those books. If you were thinking about reading it...read it. If you weren't thinking about reading it...than read it anyway.
