Katherine Parr - Henry VIII's 6th wife - the one who survived!Catherine Parr was the last of King Henry's wives and she was married to him from July 12, 1543 to January 28, 1547 when he dies. After Henry's death she married Thomas Seymour, Edward's uncle, and had one child, Mary, and died after childbirth. Mary's history is unknown but she is thought to have dies as a toddler.

This glamorous portrait shows Robert Dudley (?1532-1588), first Earl of Leicester and favorite of Queen Elizabeth I, in a white doublet embellished with gold thread. Robert Dudley was appointed Master of the Queen’s Horse in 1558, and frequently accompanied her. His hat jewel, depicting the Roman hero Marcus Curtius on horseback, alludes to this role and his equestrian skills.  c. 1564
