Vladimir and Estragon are confused and baffled by Lucky the slave. They are trying to ask him why he doesnt sit down or rest. They try and ask Pozzo but he has no answers for them and tells them just to ask Lucky himself.
Waiting For Godot by Samuel Beckett is an amazingly deep and intricate play due to it's profound simplicity (doesn't that sound ironic). Two men are waiting for Godot to arrive, when he does they know their lives will change...but what will they do if he doesn't come?
