Hair and makeup I did myself with a little help from my ever stylish little sister, Emi. Years of having to get my makeup done by makeup artists on shoots (often resulting in me hiding in a bathroom to take it off and start over) has taught me that nobody knows my face the way I do, and if I want to guarantee feeling comfortable and looking like myself, the best bet is to do it myself. For my hair, I pinned half of it back and clipped in some $3 fabric flowers I found somewhere.

Every member of each of our immediate families gave speeches--and they were INCREDIBLE. It was one of the best most amazing things in my life, tied with the night before, when most of our friends gave equally amazing, tear-worthy speeches. There was A LOT of crying and A LOT of laughing. That's basically all I ever need. We are so stupidly lucky to have the friends and family we do. All these magical photos were taken by Chadwick and Jenika of Studio Castillero. They are the best :) Watch more of my wedding happenings in the “My Dear” video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ddTAQGUNhs
