~Outback Steakhouse Copycat Marinade~ 1 c good quality ale; 2 tsp light brown sugar; 1/2 tsp seasoned salt; 1/4 tsp pepper. Marinate steak in ale for one hour not over night. Mix sugar, salt & pepper in bowl until blended. Remove steak from marinade, rub both sides of steak with mix. Return to refrigerator for another hour. Grill outdoor, in a pan or on a cast iron skillet on med to high heat. Yum!
garlic butter steak. I may try Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Garlic Butter also: 1 lb butter, 3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tb ground chervil, 1 tb garlic powder. In a microwave on high power soften the butter but do not allow it to get runny, approximately 40 to 45 seconds. With a wire whip, combine the softened butter, Parmesan cheese, chervil and garlic powder. Blend thoroughly. Texture should be fairly stiff but not runny. Tbs to the steak just before serving.
