At Oliver Gustav's moody antique garden shop in Copenhagen, you are as likely to find formally pruned topiaries and busts of the philosophers as a basket of crocus bulbs that got tired of waiting for daylight—and went ahead and bloomed in a hand-turned wooden bowl. Wollerton Old Hall Garden - "Possibly the most beautiful personal garden to have been created in the last 25 years". important modern garden in the English Garden tradition with echoes of Arts and Crafts. It covers 4 acres & is intensely cultivated. Plan 2 and 4 hours for a visit.

Inspiration for my little garden. I just need to find time between work, study and friends to act on these ideas I'm collecting!

Kimberly Barton > The sculpted bushes and the green growth atop part of the house reminds me of a stroll through an "Alice in Wonderland" approach to the mysterious and partially hidden entrance. Garden Design / repinned by Toby Designs

Beautiful topiary collection. Cone shaped in back, shorter rounded boxwoods most likely, and tall topiaries in front. Flanked by a hedge and centered with a stone urn/column. Wonderful!

Landscaping: French potted garden, Provence style. The French: they care nothing for details! :p

Trimmed box woods provide great structure and year round green to any space. Why not put them in containers so you can move them around where you please. Shrubs are a great option for patios or small spaces and shrubs are pretty low maintenance. They're great to define an entrance or create privacy too.
