The old Ministry of Defence in Belgrade, still left in ruins after the NATO bombings. When I first saw turned the corner and saw this, it left me physically breathless for a second. A sad sight and powerful reminder of the destruction of the amazing socialist land of Yugoslavia, where everyone lived equally and people thrived. I've heard Donald Trump wants to knock this down and build a luxury hotel on the land. What an awful, awful shame.
