Human and Frog Anatomy Comparison: Structure and function of organs

Designed for a grade 4 class after learning about the Digestive System. Students will draw each body part/organ and write a description of what the body part/organ does to help digestion. Can be used as an assessment activity.
This FUN game is designed to be a whole-class activity to model natural selection. Students will get to play different kinds of finches and compete against each other for food cards that you place around the classroom. By the end of the activity, students will see that the animals that are best adapted to their environment will be more likely to survive and reproduce. Those organisms that are not suited to their environments will become extinct. $
Separate notes for the digestive tract and non-digestive tract organs REALLY helped increase my students' understanding this year. This includes a foldable for the digestive tract and a separate set of notes that can be color-coded for the other organs.
