Varpu pattern by Jonna Helin
Varpu is worked top down, mostly as one piece. It is a very quick and effortless knit – easy enough for beginners and a nice snack for more experienced knitters. It is knitted in Børsted Alpakka (brushed alpaca) by Sandnes Garn. Even though the yarn is categorised as a bulky weight yarn, it is light and airy. Therefore a regular, thick bulky yarn would not be the best substitute for Børstet Alpakka. If you are not able to get the original yarn, try to find as similar alternative as possible…
