Chapter 8 - Bill and I were enjoying a peaceful walk through Paris. "We turned to the right off the Place Contrescarpe, walking along smooth narrow streets with high old houses on both sides" (83). We continued walking along this way for quite some time enjoying the beautiful scenery.

On the Left Bank Le Select is a beautiful place inside with an atmosphere that is still authentic and very special. Artists and writers of the early 1900s spent hours here, exchanging ideas and enjoying good food and drinks.

Rue Mouffetard, part of the Latin Quarter. There are many restaurants, cafés, bars and shops along the street and an open-air street market towards Square Saint-Médard. (cw12)
