1.19 “Deus Ex Machina” – JACK: Do you smell anything funny? Brain tumors bring on phantom smells, maybe like something burning. SAWYER: Just headaches. JACK: Well, I’m sure you’re fine, then. Look, if this is worrying you, there’s a couple of tests that I could do. SAWYER: Sorry, Doc. Sounds fun, but my insurance ran out. JACK: [laughing] Insurance ran out. That, that’s a good one. [As Jack walks away, Sawyer sniffs the air a couple times.]
4.01 "The Beginning of the End" – HURLEY: Did I ever tell you I won the lottery? I had like a hundred and fifty million dollars. Worst thing that ever happened to me. BERNARD: Oh yeah, who needs a hundred and fifty million dollars, right? HURLEY: Now it'll all be gone. 'Cause they all think I'm dead. We get rescued and I go back, I'm gonna be free. [pauses] I wanna do a cannonball. I've been walkin' up and down this beach everyday and looking out at this water. And I wanna do a cannonball.
