When architect Vincent Van Duysen was approached to convert a traditional farmhouse located in Zwevegem, Belgium consisting of two large barns and three smaller outbuildings into a house, the result was nothing less than spectacular. The farmhouse, now home to a family of four, used traditional building materials in a modern application to transform the structure while carefully respecting the tradition of Flemish rural architecture in the area.
