The Coventry Blitz: 14th-15th November 1940 Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital was not a safe place for a casualties, including a captured German air-crew member, who admitted being "very frightened" by the raid.
Camden Town Station WW2 bomb (1) On the 14th October 1940 during an air raid by the Luftwaffe, Camden Town Station received a direct hit. The bomb destroyed part of the northern section of the Camden High Street building. A source, quoting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission figures, puts the number of fatalities at 5, including a 16 year old lad who died later in hospital.
