Camden Town Station WW2 bomb (1) On the 14th October 1940 during an air raid by the Luftwaffe, Camden Town Station received a direct hit. The bomb destroyed part of the northern section of the Camden High Street building. A source, quoting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission figures, puts the number of fatalities at 5, including a 16 year old lad who died later in hospital.
