I wanted to make this change immediately following the election but some friends encouraged me to wait. I honored those suggestions but the desire never left me. Then yesterday as I was reading quotes and honoring the memory of Dr. King I also felt compelled to make the change but the website was under maintenance. Today I was able to make that change. I joined the fastest growing group of voters the 39% of Americans who chose to be unaffiliated or independent. I heard the argument that if…

RUSH: Let's look at some of the exit polling data here, folks.  Some of this stuff is fascinating to me.  Four in 10 Republican primary voters -- this is in Wisconsin -- said that they were scared of what Donald Trump might do in office.  Forty percent of Republican primary voters.

Voter Bell Curve - One might think superdelegates violate the one person, one vote principle. They do. Clearly. But that’s when we have to remind ourselves that these are primaries put together by political parties. And these political parties are private organizations, independent of government despite where they occupy their time. In a peculiar public-private hybrid, primaries grant party insiders the ability to create internal rules awarding themselves lopsided power.

40% of American voters call them selves independent more than either Democrats or Republicans. They now can control every election, they are courted by both parties, and yet instead of joining either, their numbers have grown after every election since 1992.
