This one didn't match up to the expectations, in perfect contrast with the first two which had surpassed all expectations. However, viewed in continuity and not in isolation, it works pretty much well. The tone, however, is more theatrical than the first two and appears to be like a Shakespearean tragedy in its execution. Don't watch it expecting the understated and subdued quality of I and II.

The Godfather (1972): Francis Ford Coppola, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Don Vito Corleone's New York City mafia family gangster drama mob war. "What are you worried about? If I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead already. Get in." Simply one of the best dramas ever filmed. The sequels are also excellent.
