New Free Stuff is relatively a new website that has a team looking, contacting and scouring everywhere so they can bring you freebies, samples etc. But what is rather interesting is its social media growth, especially Facebook.
Mark Zuckerberg has been practicing on stage, where today he will be in front of thousands of developers at the 2015 Facebook F8 developer conference. The F8 live stream countdown has already begun and with just over 7 hours to go social media platforms are already lighting up.
A recent study by Havas Media and Crowd Emotion found that only 20 percent of branded content posts appearing on Facebook generated any emotional response. When emotion is key to consumer connection to a brand, this seems to spell doom for social media marketers.
The Facebook stock price today is still sitting pretty at $86.17, which is still beating Walmart at $71.44. So Walmart is not as big as the social media kings, at least when it comes to the stock market valuation.
