While elegant and professional, this design, for me personally, is a classic symbol for a culture obsessed with status, "success," and economic power which is entirely empty and eerily grotesque underneath. The designer has done an excellent job, it's just not my aesthetic.
Like their product mascot cousins of branding past (Elsie the Cow, Charlie the Tuna, Tony the Tiger, etc.) this new breed of animal logos really stand out. It's not rocket science. Which are you more likely to remember . . . a series of overlapping transparent circles or a dinosaur holding a wine bottle?
