Unusual World’s Navigable Aqueducts Aqueduct Ringvaart Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands This is the oldest water bridge in the Netherlands, built in 1961 Near Roelofarendsveen town in western part of the country. The Ringvaart channel surrounds the polder of Haarlemermmeer and crosses over the A4 Highway by means of the aqueduct. In 2006, the construction has undergone two new renovations: the expanded highway on the east side and new high-speed railway on the west side.
