Have you ever cried out to God and wondered why you couldn't feel His presence when you needed Him most? This poem was written during one of those times in my life. God showed me He was always there. Our feelings don't change the truth of His presence.

This is the most difficult thing to explain to people who don't understand cPTSD/PTSD. We may work hard all our lives to let go and heal but the trauma is being held in our bodies by our bodies. Our bodies are calling the shots and will heal and release the trauma when the time is right.
