Helga (L), Martin (centre) and Carly (R) were national finalists at the 2013 Great British Care Awards - Care Homes.  They reached the finals by winning their cateogy in their region.At the glitzy event on Saturday 20th April, the three were each finalists in the same category - Putting People First.   We're all about the people we support so it was great to get so much recognition in this category.

Martin, Carly and Helga might not have won the national finals but they're always going to be 'national finalists' and regional winners.  Plus, what's not to love about a gong, a great night out in London with superb colleagues and the people we support?   And Anton.  Did we not mention Anton yet?  Anton du Beke from Strictly was there and posing for photos!

This is Carly - National Finalist and Regional Winner for the East of England for Putting People First.   Carly works closely with the team at FitzRoy's Lethrede, a specialst autism and learning disability service.  In the short time the unit has been open, its made a massive difference to the people who we support - some of whom joined Carly on the night to celebrate.
