Explore Smoke, Nothing and more!

When Marcel Christ combined the mediums of pastel chalks and photography, it resulted in true work of arts. The artist describes playing with the chalk as an experiment that he responded to with still photographs. These images are full of life and have an explosive like quality to them that have captured our eye and our love for all things colorful.

This image is perhaps almost to dark in its representation, although there is certainly a dark thread running through the novel. However this simplistic representation of smoke and mirrors might be better aimed at the more mature spectrum of a YA readership. However that said I think the blue smoke could work well with the castle turrets perhaps edging out of the top. with the text layers then on top and centered.

I LOVE the idea of smokebombs in photoshoots... One of my favorite ever concepts. **************************************** Stella Maxwell by Ben Morris for Numéro Tokyo #74 March 2014

This has a very specific meaning to it, with a nice use of mist and almost zero light to give a sense of style as well.

Again.. a cigarette and smoke can create the perfect Film Noir composition. I love the light on the Fedora hat. I shall be trying to emulate this sort of composition in my project.
