3% Hydrogen Peroxide. You've seen "oxy" this and "oxy" that. To get rid of stains, use good old 3% hydrogen peroxide. Add a 1/2 cup to a large load of laundry or 1/4 to medium load instead of chlorine bleach. Fill a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide to get rid of stains (pet, food, wine, blood etc) on carpets or upholstery. If the material is not colorfast, mix half cool water and hydrogen peroxide. For stubborn stains, make a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
