This incredible photo marks the end of Matador Torero Alvaro Munera’s career. He collapsed in remorse mid-fight when he realized he was having to prompt this otherwise gentle beast to fight. He went on to become an avid opponent of bullfights. Even grievously wounded by picadors, he did not attack this man. Torrero Munera is quoted as saying of this moment: “And suddenly, I looked at the bull. He had this innocence that all animals have in their eyes, and he looked at me with this pleading.
"Was on the way to my wife's little brother's 8th grade graduation when we saw a doe & her fawn standing in the creek. We backed up to get a better look and the fawn tripped and fell in the creek and had his back leg wedged in a rock. As a true outdoors man should, I decided that I couldn't let the little thing drown so I took off my shoes and went out and got the little booger. I guess you might be a redneck if you wade into a creek to save a fawn in your Sunday's best."
DON''T LET THIS HAPPEN TO ANOTHER DOG, CAT or ANY PET. KEEP THEM INSIDE. REPORT if they're outside in the cold. We must BE THEIR VOICE. Temperatures are dropping every day. If enforcement doesn't respond, consider alternatives. They deserve much better. Warmth, food, love, compassion AND someone to advocate for them. If not YOU, then who?
...The presenter showed a brief video clip that haunts me still to this day..a clip of his experiment in which he had crushed a cat's spinal cord and was recording the cat's movement on a treadmill..forcibly implanted electrodes into the cat's brain & she was struggling to keep upright, dragging her paralyzed legs on the treadmill. She repeatedly fell off the machine. At one point, the experimenter lifted her up to reposition her...and She rubbed her head against the experimenter's hand.
