18th century inlaid maple fitted sewing box decorated with a hand colored print depicting Autumn Circa 1790. The inside is lined in its original pink paper and has compartments for thread and ribbons. There are two turned canisters which are in the shape of milk churns which have the upper part hollowed out to hold the thimble and thread waxer.

Shaker Wood Box, Hancock, Massachusetts, c. 1820, the hinged lid opens to a divided interior, the dovetail construction box with wrought iron harp-shapped hangers mounted to the left side, and wooden knobs on each side, sold with a pair of wrought iron tongs and a small peel, 25 H. x 26 W. x 17.5 D.
