This humble Book of Hours, produced in Bruges c. 1400, belongs to the first wave of books of hours exported to England. Since it is known to have belonged to early 15th-century owners in Badingham and Heveningham (in east Suffolk), it is included here to illustrate the widespread English devotional uses of Flemish manuscripts.
