Art Deco necklace designed by McClelland Barclay c. 1935 - 1943 "This vintage piece can be seen in the book American Costume Jewelry by Roberto and Carla Brunialti among others. This wonderful necklace was designed by McClelland Barclay and produced by the little known Rice -Weiner company. The ruby red glass is brilliant and the clear rhinestones really pop! A great example of early costume jewelry. During the 1920s and the 1930s he became world famous for his Art Deco jewelry."
