CC.851 Nummus of Diocletian, AD301, Alexandria. The obverse has laureate head of the Emperor Diocletian with legend 'IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG'. The reverse has the Genius standing with modius on head, naked but for chlamys over left shoulder, holding patera and cornucopiae. The legend reads 'GENIO POPV L I ROMANI A/XX I/ALE'. The exergue 'ALE'. Part of the collection of the Garstang Museum of Archaeology, University of Liverpool.
