Niles North Sculpture Project Volunteers from the Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park and Niles High Schools gathered in the Park on Oct. 21 to assemble some ceramic boxes created by Niles North High School art students. The totem pole like assemblies were stacked on PVC pipes in Section III and epoxied together.
Every spring I give my senior Advanced Placement students the opportunity to create a large scale work of art featuring our high school mascot, a Bengal Tiger. Over the years I have had about a dozen students create a giant acrylic painting which hangs in the large space at the front doors or the high school.
I WANT THIS!!!! Thumbprint portraits use your child’s own thumbprint to create a large (three feet high!), colorful work of art that he or she will absolutely love. https://www.etsy.com/shop/cherylsorg?ref=exp_listing
