Here are my top lantanas from 2011. Since it's been so warm and waiting to see if any come back. I'm in St. Louis so normally they wouldn't but this has been such a warm winter - they might. I prefer Star Landing over Miss Huff as it's a bit more vibrant.
Rose black spot is a fungal disease that is prevalent in wet weather, spreading by water splash in wet, windy conditions. Regular treatment with a fungicide is required, but removing infected leaves and pruning out diseased wood also helps. Catalogs list roses that are more resistant to this disease than others are; while these are worth considering, no rose is completely immune.
