This is the last several verses of a 29 verse section entitled: David's Song of Praise. There are several things to notice here in David's worship. 1. NATIONS of the world A. David recognized there were, & WOULD BE more nations than Isreal. B. He tells them to RECOGNIZE God. His glory. His strength. C. He also tells them to give God the glory he deserves. D. And to bring a gift, as they enter God's presence.

This selection is entitled as: Loving One Another. Right there in the title, and as you read the selection you'll realize something isn't mentioned.... Approval. Sadly, as the world would like us all to forget (never know), love does not mean approval. (See comments for thoughts on selected verses.)

While this chapter isn't titled, it likely was written by David (he wrote the majority of Psalms). While reading it, I couldn't decide how to describe it. Was it a letter between David & God, describing their love of one another? Was it a Sermon, instructing others to love God as well? How about both? 1. He begins by instructing us to not only Love God, but to SING (tell others) praises to God about it! A. "Let the Godly..." B. "It is FITTING for the pure..." C. "Play…

Wages: something earned. Sin: transgression or rebellion against God's laws. - an offense or fault against God. Even though we have earned death, God has offered a free gift of life. Just because he offers it, doesn't mean we possess it. We MUST accept this gift.

This is only part of a chapter entitled as: To the Choir Director, A Psalm of David. Right there in the "title" is something for you to think about. Shepherd boy, giant slayer, King Solomon's musician, King David WROTE songs! Yes, giant slayer & King are very important people, but David was ALSO a king's servant (musician), & shepherd boy, VERY HUMBLE (low) positions. Yet, he wrote songs to God! What can you do for God? (For my thoughts on the Scripture, see comments.)

This selection is entitled as: Book One. Did you know that the book of Psalms (Songs), was so large, that the early transcribers split it into several books? So, the early church had more than one hymnal... While some like this song (chapter) were short (like some of today's worship choruses), others (like chapter 119) were so long rests were written in between every so many verses! (See comments for my thoughts on this selection.)

This selection is entitled as- -- For the choir director: A song of the descendants of Korah, To be sung by soprano voices. (TITLE Hebrew according to alamoth.) My Bible app chose vs 10 as today's verse. While my family is crying out, "Why?" God is telling us to be still, & KNOW he IS God. Let's work our way through this song.

Verse 8 is one that many struggle with today.... Because in today's world, if you disagree with someone else, & YOU SAY that you disagree with them? You're discriminating against them... No, you're just stating your beliefs... Every one has a right to their beliefs, all we can do is follow ours & pray for ourselves, & others...

Do you have people spreading rumors about you? Want to shut them up? DON'T say anything about it... Just live your life how God tells you to, as listed here.... The truth will be shown... They will be silenced. As God tells us here.

Where do your temptations come from? Are you "slow" when you should be? Or "quick" when you should be? Can your anger do anything for God? Are you fooling yourself? Is your Christianity worthless? Have you let the world corrupt you?
