These England players had every right to be delighted in Rio in 1984 - they were the first (and still the only) England team to win in Brazil. Seen here from left to right are Mark Chamberlain, Mike Duxbury, John Barnes, Dave Watson, Clive Allen, Mark Hateley and Kenny Sansom. Such was the brilliance of the Barnes goal that the scorer of England's second that day is often forgotten. It was actually Hateley with a fine header

His international goals-to-games ratio remains one of the best for the country and he is regarded as one of the ALL-TIME BEST English strikers!!
