This image was taken shortly after our descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. We watched the moon slip behind the wall of the crater rim while a mysterious layer of fog lay at the base. We were the only vehicles in the crater for the first hour or so and it was like we had the entire park to ourselves. This is the beauty of an early morning rise.
