One of Matthew's very favorite aspects of the design is the gallery wall. He chose almost all of the art and structured the layout himself. "It tells a story with the rest of the apartment," says Matthew.
The layering in the family room begins on the floor, where an abaca rug from Williams-Sonoma Home is topped with a Beni Ourain rug found in a Moroccan souk. Bhargava prefers natural materials and likes a touch of leather in every room. The Bedford chair by Williams-Sonoma Home is upholstered in suede, which "is very forgiving," she says. "It wipes off easily."
