Excuse the ridiculous concentration face for yesterday's #legday at @cityfitnessnz  . Loved having the studio room to myself did an hours workout of squats deadlifts weighted glute bridges walking lunges and even managed to throw in curtsy lunges albeit low weighted ones as I get the balance right

You can't tell but I am struggling to stay upright  Thought it was a good idea to get my man to show me what he does for abs followed by my usual glute and leg workout. Safe to say I am dead! . . . 3 x 60 kettle bell Russian twists  3 x 60 crunches  3 x 10 gym ball jackknifes  Weighted standing oblique side crunches until failure  3 x 8 weighted walking lunges 3 x 20 weighted hip thrusts with resistance band  3 x 8 weighted calf raises  3 x 8 weighted squats . . . #yoga at the @crossfit_blenheim gym today with @tarshinzyogi gosh I need the stretch after Monday's leg day still feeling it  . If you don't already do yoga I really recommend it. The practice of yoga whatever kind you fall in love with really complements lifting and weights and anything else you do at the gym or outdoors. Stretching those muscles out feels so good but the mental release you get from yoga also helps bring balance and relaxation  . Too bad I am about to break that relaxation…

Anyone else starting  @kayla_itsines #BBG 2.0 again this January? I got half way though it last year before it all got too hectic (not an excuse but still) so am keen to restart with a fresh body and mind!  . . . Also looking for a #running buddy for Mondays and Wednesdays if anyone is keen?  . . . The bbg guides are great if you want targeted exercises all laid out easily to follow and all over and done with in 28mins (excluding a short warm up and cool down  stretching)
