I am honored to call this man my hero! Lcpl Alfred Vizzari served two combat tours in Afghanistan as part of the 1/2 and 1/6 Marine Corps Infantrymen. After losing my dad on foreign soil back in 2005 (OIF), words can't express how happy I was to have my better half arrive home safely after his last deployment... This was the best day of my life. -Kenzi

Army SPC Gary L. Gooch, 22, of Ocala, Florida. Died November 5, 2009, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 5th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington. Died of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations in Jelewar, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

This here is my dad, he was killed in 2004 in Afghanistan. He was the greatest man I knew! Some night say I was a bit of daddy's girl. Our Hero is SFC Shawn Suzch he was KIA March 10, 2008 in Bagdah Iraq. Our daughter was only 6 month old when he was killed. There is not one day what goes by where we don't think of him, miss or talk about him. He enjoyed life and his friends and Soldiers where more then that they where his (our) family. -Angela
