Men have no idea what it takes to be a woman. To grin and bear it and persevere. The constant state of war, navigating the relentless obstacle course of testosterone and misogyny, where they think we are property to be owned and plowed. But we’re not. We are people, just like them. Equals, in fact, or at least that’s the core of what feminism is still trying to achieve. http://fuckyeahwomenprotesting.tumblr.com/post/160956931985/it-was-easier-to-give-in-than-keep-running
Cellulite is a female secondary sex characteristic and should be celebrated as a rite of womanhood, not despised or eradicated. It has to do with the way our bodies network fat. Female bodies create sort of a mesh network to support fat (female bodies are MUCH more hardy in times of stress) and it can present as delightfully lumpy. More than 90% of women have visible cellulite, but all women store fat in this manner. http://imaginal.tumblr.com/post/161279211176
Emmeline Pankhurst (born Goulden; 15 July 1858 – 14 June 1928) was a British political activist and leader of the British suffragette movement who helped women win the right to vote. In 1999 Time named Pankhurst as one of the 100 Most Important People of the 20th Century, stating: "she shaped an idea of women for our time; she shook society into a new pattern from which there could be no going back."
There is no such thing as a good slave owner. They owned my PEOPLE & used them as checks and balances. This cycle continues with prison and brutality. I do not want to hear shit about “Why can only Black people say this or that?” I don’t want to hear shit about “we’re all human.” And by the way, not one of those slaves are at rest. Those spirits were so alive, you could feel their presence, their pain & someday, their revenge.
