It is situated in the northwestern Santa Clara Valley on the San Francisco Peninsula. The architecture is Spanish so it has a look quite different from the eastern colleges with ivy covered brick. But, there is something about Stanford that makes your heart beat a little faster when you walk or drive through the campus!
