PHOTO OF THE DAY. March 25: National Agriculture Day. Here’s a shot I love that Steve took on our little farm in Shelby County, Ohio. He loved a dramatic sky across an open landscape, and he loved the little cherry tree and the grapevines. Cherries from this tree were featured later in many pies that Steve baked.
PHOTO OF THE DAY. Feb 24: Spring Is Just 24 Days Away! Here's a photo that my Steve took in Rush Run Wildlife Area near Camden, Ohio. This was probably taken in the 1980s. Steve so loved spring! If you'd like to see more of Steve's photos, please comment and repin!
Here’s a memory from one of our past vacations in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I thought of kite-flying today even before I realized that that’s what today is. It was very windy here this morning, and that’s what brought kites to mind. Do you have a kite-flying story to share?
PHOTO OF THE DAY. March 23: Memory Day. My Steve had a genus for finding and creating beauty in unexpected places. He took a very plain, urban yard and created this riot of blossom and color against our rough concrete garage.
PHOTO OF THE DAY. Feb 4 (okay! I'm a day late!): Thank a Mailman Day! Only a dog--or in this case two dogs--truly knows how to thank a mailman! Hope you're enjoying our PHOTOS OF THE DAY. Please comment and REPIN! #greyhound
