I have seen these books before and I grew up with them. On the side are pictures that make a sound. The pictures are somewhere in the text of the book. When picture appears the student presses the picture to hear the sound. This would benefit students who struggle with comprehension or have trouble seeing the text. These books can be used as a reading assignment and sent home for further reading.
I added Clicker 5 for adapted books because it has software for writing support, with pictures, words to select, and voice output. Pictures can be added to the grid on the bottom. This would be great for students who struggle with reading. This would work great as an adapted book. It can be used in any classroom
I added this because I though that it would work for any students who struggle with reading and comprehension. I like that it has games that students can hear the correct pronunciation of words. Students can use this while reading a book or trying to spell a word correctly. The child can use this in general education classroom and resource room.
I added this for students who might need an adapted books because it has page turners on each page. This allows the book to be easier to turn for students who are low tone. The page turner can be a dot of hot glue or a piece of clay. The students can make a book like this and take it home to read. Also the general education teacher can make these books for the students
I added the Jud e clock because it has many great features. Students can add minutes and hours to the clock. The clock will then read the time in word form and digital form. It has many beneficial features for students who don't understand clocks. This would work at home and school.
I added the Livescribe pen because it can be used for a variety of different needs for student who struggle with writing. The pen captures everything the student hears or writes. It can be used as a study tool because students can put the pen on the page and it will read the notes out loud. This tool would be useful in general education classroom or resource room. The student could take it home as a study tool.
