We had this exact Bush-Radiogram.  I wasn't supposed to touch it but, of course, did.  I remember Cilla Black singing Anyone Who Had a Heart on a 45 rpm vinyl single and things like the Navy Lark, The Clitheroe Kid and Two Way Family Favourites playing on the radio.

Golden Eye Ointment.  This could be bought over the counter in Boots when I was a child despite containing mercury (since removed).  It was highly effective against conjunctivitis unsurprisingly but god knows what else it did to you.

Gas heaters featured a lot years ago when heating was either too expensive or non existent.  The smell was quite distinctive and they weighed a ton but the main problem was that they gave off a lot of water as the gas burnt, leading to damp and mould.

Nana used to wear her hair in a bun held in place with grips and pins, topped by an invisible hair net.  There were always pins and grips around the house.
