An African Mossi or Winiama Zoomorphic Mask    African Mossi or Winiama Carved Wood Zoomorphic Mask, from Burkina Faso. A strikingly carved animal mask with strong geometry of form with circles and triangles and ears and large horns atop head and patterns in painted black, white and red pigments. This mask has the characteristic diamond shaped mouth that is so stylized it is difficult to know which animal is represented. 28-1/2”H, custom mounted. A wonderful example.
