Knowing when to walk away is wisdom. Being able to is courage. Walking away with your head held high is dignity. #selfcontrol

via Lang Leav - ... and endings come with relationships most of the time; so, take care what you invest, how much and with whom. Don't give away what is most essential to your dignity .... and, if you do; never assume it will buy the love of another. Find a partner who values you and invests in you, too. <3

“I am not interested in making children’s clothes,” she says. “I want little girls to want to grow up to wear the clothes. I do not want to do men’s clothes. My mission in life, what I understand in life, is women. I wanted to be a certain kind of a woman. I became that kind of a woman.” Diane von Furstenberg in a NYT article. Obviously the idea of “That Kind of Woman” is a sentiment that many women consider in their careers and lives in general.

Free thinker, Agnostics or Atheism : Ricy Gervais - Next time someone tells me they believe in God, I’ll say “Oh which one? Zeus? Hades? Jupiter? Mars? Odin? Thor? Krishna? Vishnu? Ra?…” If they say “Just God. I only believe in the one God,” I’ll point out that they are nearly as atheistic as me. I don’t believe in 2,870 gods, and they don’t believe in 2,869. - I see Atheists are fighting and killing each other again, over who doesn't believe in any God the most. Oh, no..wait.. that never…

"Everyone imagines I work very quickly because, in my work, you can’t see the sweat. With many artists, you look at their work and think, “Wow, that’s so labor-intensive, so time-consuming.” I like that in my work you can see spontaneity. Even though I work a lot, I don’t want people to see a sense of labor in my paintings. I just want them to sense that spontaneity and impact." - Yan Pei-Ming

Inflation and (big) Bang For me, it is the most exciting historical tale, but it didn’t actually start with a single infinitesimal point. The story begins with a very small region of the early universe, cosmologists and the theory of inflation say so. Alan Guth explains it better: What the Big Bang theory tells us is that at least our region of the universe 13.82 billion years ago was an extremely hot, dense, uniform soup of particles, which in the conventional standard Big Bang model filled…
