Soundation is a web tool (can be used with a free account - 13+ only, or without an account at all just to try it out) that allows you to mix sound effects to create your own original work. Use free free sounds built-in, upload your own sounds, or record new sounds using built-in instruments and keyboard. When you've created something that you like, download it. (need to have at least a free account to do) Simple to use, literally drag and drop free sounds from the right onto your timeline.
